How I work/modalities

I commonly integrate several modalities for supporting clients in building regulation, working with trauma, and growing your toolbox of skills. I commonly use Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a somatic (body-based) therapy; Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment and other parts work; and AEDP, a relational modality for working with attachment and emotions; and Transforming Touch®, a powerful touch-based modality for developmental trauma. I also guide clients in mindfulness-based awareness and compassion practices, drawing upon my own long-time meditation practice under several well-respected Buddhist teachers and mentors. Together we can discern what will be right for you.

Any of these approaches can integrate with a variety of (or no) spiritual or religious backgrounds. They are appropriate for people with or without past experience with therapy or mindfulness. I look forward to working with you.
